Para o projeto de um conjunto habitacional situado no limite do bairro lisboeta de Campo de Ourique, com a sua organização e alturas reguladas, a minha proposta desenvolve-se num edifício em altura que introduz um ponto de referência na paisagem, culminando com uma árvore no topo que permite um lugar elevado para contemplar a cidade e a floresta de monsanto, ao mesmo tempo que se relaciona com o complexo das Amoreiras. Os espaços verdes em redor do lote permitem a municipalização do território podendo ser utilizado como uma horta comunitária e a praça ao centro cria um novo vazio urbano. A estrutura metálica regular permite uma grande diversidade de tipologias e apropriação de cada habitação. Programa: Observatório de pássaros. Materialidade: Pedra lapidada e aço. Fragmentos brutos de um passado remoto gastos pela ação do tempo. Apenas resta a memória deste lugar, que se encontra em suspensão. A ruína existe enquanto evidência natural e realidade histórica, que integra a paisagem na sua condição de terra. Um ciclo construtivo que faz com que o edifício nasça da terra, completando o círculo do pó que regressa ao pó. A ruína funcionou como estética de um tempo, que escondida ou à vista se fez representar inserida em lugares mágicos ou misteriosos que suscitaram uma permanente atitude de descoberta , que neste caso o seu uso é subvertido para a descoberta de diferentes espécies de pássaros. Fazendo renacer a memória da ruína através da racionalização dos blocos brutos de pedra existentes. Maciços empilhados, assentam nas arestas dos blocos e conferem um carácter de fragilidade que contrasta com a solidez dos volumes. A ambiguidade da construção permite uma vasta intrepretação do mesmo pelo visitante.
